Apologies
More sad losses
Another sad week unfortunately. First we had to have sweet little Shandy put to sleep due to chronic ehrlichiosis, and now we have lost gorgeous Alma.
Another successful vet day
On Saturday we had our second great on-site vet clinic, this time for surgery.
Dr Vero & Dr Edgar, ably assisted by Lorena, spayed and neutered Pip, Freddy, Belle, Pooky & Jessie.
A Sad Week
This has been a sad week for us. Following on from the sad death of our beloved Dulce is the loss of Sparky, Polly's tiny pup and Kylie.
Update
After seeming to be on the road to recovery, little Dulce had a relapse and unfortunately passed away due to the bronchial pneumonia she had been suffering with.
Cora's puppies
We have started to wean Cora's puppies and have removed 4 from her. All but one of these puppies are very large and having them all with her, all fighting to feed, was clearly taking it's toll.
Polly has a baby!
When Polly first arrived, we suspected that she might be pregnant, but she is so thin that we couldn't be sure.
First vet clinic
Our first on-site vet clinic held on Saturday was a huge success.
8 New Puppies!
Busy, busy day yesterday with the arrival of 8 new puppies.
Shelter Vet Clinics
It was always part of our dream to have an on site vet clinic at the shelter and now it looks like this will soon be happening.
New squeaky toy
Odin is convinced that we have provided him with a new toy in the form of little Mimi. It seems nothing will convince him that she is a DOG and not a plaything provided for his entertainment.
Vidas free spay & neuter clinic
