Our Mission

Our goal is to find a good home and owner for each pet that we rescue from the streets. We rescue these animals and take them to the Vet for treatment, vaccinations and to have them spayed & neutered. We take the animals in and care for them while they are healing and waiting for adoption.

We know it is a huge goal to wish for a safe and healthy home for each of these animals but if we aim high we may succeed! We would like to expand the Shelter to help as many of these animals as we can and we need the funds to make that happen.

We are a "NO KILL" shelter, we will only have an animal put to sleep if it is the last resort and truly the kindest option. We know most of the adult animals, particularly the females, may never be adopted. We accept that and we want to have enough room for them to live their simple lives in peace and happiness.

Many of the dogs that we rescue have been the victims of ill-treatment or neglect. Many local people who own pets do not have the means or funds to have them spayed or neutered and they do not understand the principles of being a good animal owner. It would be wonderful to start an education program for the local people. If it saved only one dog's life each day it would be a great result.
