It was always part of our dream to have an on site vet clinic at the shelter and now it looks like this will soon be happening.
Two local vets Veronica and Edgar have kindly offered their time to do bi-weekly clinics here to do the regular check-ups and vaccinations, and they have also offered to do some surgeries as well such as spaying and neutering. We will have to try and source some medical equipment for these operations to take place but we are hopeful that this will be a not too difficult task.
The upside to all of this is that instead of the daily runs to the vet we will have more time to spend with the dogs doing fun things like walks or trips to the beach, and of course after any surgery the animal will be able to recover here more comfortably..
